The Revenue Cycle Supervisor oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle from charge capture to account resolution for assigned client practices. Responsible for all staff assigned to the client that is under his or her supervision. Has strong working knowledge of the revenue cycle and coordinates a wide range of administrative duties involved in the resolution of client accounts receivable. Able to proactively identify issues and effectively problem solve as issues arise. Effectively communicates policies, procedures and processes to internal staff as well as administrators, physicians, and other individuals within client practices they oversee.

Responsibilities:- Ensures that all claims are submitted and processed through to payment in a timely manner. This includes:
- Monitor performance and provide feedback of errors
- Provide on-site training as needed in coordination with the operational business managers.
- Monitor claims process to ensure that any claim edits and/or claim rejections are corrected.
- Assist in AR review and projects as needed
Contact payers to resolve recurring issues as needed.
Assist with maintaining a log of coding and reimbursement issues.
Identify patterns of denials/root cause of denials and alert management
Assist manager to improve location report card identified issues.
Share best practice with team leads in other States/Regions and assists them with projects
Serve as team lead back up
Create and maintain job aids and training documentation
Assist manager in team hiring and training.
Performs other duties as assigned by Area Manager
Monitor the AR follow up process to ensure that staff has the tools and resources to appropriately correct and/or appeal denied claims
- Retina experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Revenue Cycle Management managerial experience in a multi-location setting required.
- Must possess strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
- Prior electronic medical records experience required (EMR/EHR)
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external
- Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive performance improvement, demonstrated by progressive increases in management responsibility
- Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams
