POSITION TITLE: Clinic Manager
REPORTS TO (TITLE): Director of Operations
SALARY RANGE: $82,500 - $97,500 DOE
Job Summary: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing their assigned health center/s operations and staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure delivery of efficient and high-quality patient care. The Clinic Manager works collaboratively with the health center/s Director of Operations and Medical Director to develop a high-functioning clinical team with clear standards and consistent performance. They ensure that SRCH policies and procedures are implemented, and standards of care are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly and indirectly supervises support staff within their assigned health center/s, including but not limited to clinic supervisors, medical assistants, medical receptionists, clinical team assistants, CPSP Coordinators, etc.
- Collaborates with nursing leadership to provide operational support to nursing staff.
- Provides leadership for their assigned health center/s including direction, training, performance management and development of all assigned staff.
- Prepares and oversees the development of training for each role at their assigned health center/s as directed by the Director of Operations and the organization.
- Must be familiar with the Collective Bargaining Agreement in the supervision of any union-represented staff.
- Responsible for timely, accurate submission of timekeeping processes to payroll.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned health center/s including overseeing patient flow, overseeing provider and patient scheduling, managing workflows, staffing the clinic appropriately to maximize efficient and effective patient care.
- Responsible for supporting their team to meet visit targets.
- Ensures that patients have timely access to clinical services.
- Responsible for managing clinical and operational issues as they arise.
- Communicate with appropriate staff to maintain an appropriate daily support staff schedule for all teams.
- Coordinates the implementation of new or upgraded systems, is responsible for disseminating and training staff on new and revised policies and procedures.

- Oversees and implementation of grant requirements
- Assists staff with basic EHR troubleshooting and escalation to EHR leadership for additional support.
- Responsible for responding to, tracking, and overseeing patient grievances.
- Key member of their assigned health center/s and the organization’s Risk Management team. Responsible for completing necessary steps of each assigned variance, including but not limited to documentation of follow-up and communication to staff on follow up completed.
- Leads team meetings in a manner that promotes engagement by all team members.
- Shares clinical and operational practices with other Clinic Managers to support standardization.
- Quality Improvement: conducts audits on clinical performance and operations on a regular basis, reports findings to Director of Operations and Medical Director and participates in development and implementation of corrective action plan.
- Assists Director of Operations in preparing for and participating in site visits by auditors.
- Participates in meetings, including but not limited to: site-based meetings, organizational Leadership Team meetings, and organizational committees. .
- Communicates directly with the Director of Operations regarding staff performance, health center operations, and quality of care on a regular basis.
- Participates in recruiting for all levels of roles for assigned campus and organization.
- Oversees staff assignments to maintain, safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
Experience:
- Bilingual (speak, read, and write) in English and Spanish or a second language that is reflected by the SRCH patient population is preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in a clinic coordination or in a lead clinical role preferred.
- At least two years of experience with employee supervision is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve systems and workflow.
- Demonstrated leadership skills: team building, strong communication skills, and ability to motivate staff.
- Current CPR certification preferred, but not required at time of hire
- Demonstrates knowledge of compliance issues within the community clinic environment
- Demonstrates a willingness to report any incident that is unusual or incompatible with accepted clinic procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of patients at all times
- Sensitivity to and willingness to interact with people of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people with a variety of backgrounds and educational levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following:
