Description

The Senior Manager for Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the commercial relationship with key partners that align with Click Bond’s ongoing strategic and business development goals. This role implements tactical activities and initiatives that meet Click Bond’s short- and long-term growth objectives. The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships ensures accurate sales forecasting, aligns internal operations with customer needs, and drives profitable revenue growth through effective account management, contract negotiation, and strategic engagement that drives future opportunities through the assigned portfolio of customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across assigned customer base, including Category Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Contracts, suppliers, and distributors. Serve as the primary point of contact, understanding customer’s evolving needs, challenges, and business priorities to ensure alignment with Click Bond’s objectives.

Act as a trusted commercial partner, maintaining a thorough understanding of the customer’s programs, business cycles, and procurement strategies.

Strategic Planning

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive momentum for new business and sustain existing business. Collaborate closely with the Business Development and cross-functional teams to plan and execute market strategies tailored to the customer’s unique requirements.

Demonstrate deep knowledge of the customer’s product lines, build rates, supplier ecosystem, and long-term growth initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work collaboratively with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Inside Sales, Distribution, Brand Experience, and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment. Facilitate information flow across departments to optimize efficiency, responsiveness, and customer outcomes. 

Problem Solving

Identify and implement creative solutions to meet customer needs while balancing Click Bond’s strategic and operational goals. Leverage customer insight to drive internal innovation and alignment that benefits both parties.

Forecasting and Growth

Apply historical data and market intelligence to enhance forecast accuracy and identify growth opportunities. Use insights from customer trends to drive pipeline development and revenue expansion. Understand and manage sales targets; proactively identify and close gaps to meet performance goals.

Qualifications


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to utilize computer software to present data and reports in meaningful formats.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for engagement with management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, leadership, and team-building capabilities.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including international travel for up to two-week periods.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and detail oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer focus and business ethics.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of five years in manufacturing or design and sales of related products or industry, or bachelor’s degree in another discipline and ten years in manufacturing or design and sales of related products or industry.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is not a supervisory position

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical documents, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Proficient in applying basic algebraic and geometric concepts.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen, with the ability to develop business cases, evaluating impacts across the enterprise.
  • Strong analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and navigate complex business variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and Salesforce.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Passport

PERSONAL PROPERTY REQUIREMENTS

  • Suitable space in residence for a home office.
  • Clean, well-maintained vehicle (preferably four-door and less than five years old).
