Quality Assurance Auditor

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Quality Assurance Auditor at VF looks a little like this:

the Quality Assurance Auditor will assist with completing product quality checks for Dickies garments. To conduct routine measuring, testing, and analysis of garments.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more:

• Follow SOPs for production and preparatory processes.
• Examines garment and parts for defects, such as unfinished raw edges, broken buttons or hooks, uneven stripes or plaids, puckers in seams, loose threads or stitches, or incorrect packaging assortment.
• Document quality control issues
• Returns rejected garments per SOP
• Measure garments for accuracy and quality
• Audit fabric and trims to ensure quality products
• Other duties as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1 year of experience and professional achievements.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate with QA management and management team
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations including fractions, decimals and measurements
