Position Summary


The Inside Sales Confirmation Supervisor oversees the confirmation process of all inside sales transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing a team of confirmation specialists, streamlining sales confirmation workflows, and maintaining high-quality standards in communication with clients and cross-departmental communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the inside sales confirmation team, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and daily oversight.
  • Ensure all sales orders are confirmed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and customer agreements.
  • Review and verify sales documents for completeness, pricing accuracy, and compliance with terms.
  • Act as a liaison between inside sales, operations, and customer service to resolve any discrepancies or issues in order confirmations.
  • Monitor KPIs related to sales confirmations (e.g., confirmation turnaround time, error rate, customer feedback).
  • Provide coaching and development to team members to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the confirmation process.
  • Utilize CRM and Lead Assignment systems to manage sales data and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or order processing.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales order lifecycle and customer service principles.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Working Conditions

  • Standard working hours will vary, with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of the regular schedule. This position primarily covers evening and weekend shifts
  • The role requires frequent use of a computer, including extended periods of screen time.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Work is performed in a professional office setting requiring extensive use of computers, data platforms, and communication tools. The position involves frequent interaction with internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Regular use of a CRM, lead management, and order confirmation software.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
