About the Role and Program
Disney’s Sales team is seeking a Sales Intern who will be an exceptional addition to our Sales team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s global entertainment, news television properties and owned television stations.
This is an opportunity for an intern who wants to gain exposure on how Disney helps to shape the digital entertainment marketing space. As a Sales Intern you will be immersed in the world of digital operations, learning the complexities of the sales ecosystem. You will interact and coordinate with nearly every business unit in order to understand how we receive and fulfill those advertising buys. Interns will have a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with teams inside the Disney Ad Sales landscape that drive revenue and engagement for our partners. In this role, you will support Account Executives in advertising reporting as well as account updates.
Responsibilities include:
Learning the lifecycle of a digital ad campaign
Assisting in reporting and campaign trafficking
Attending select meetings to learn the DAS Strategy holistically
Engaging with members of the Sales team as well as other cross functional teams across the business
Learning about advanced advertising initiatives including new technology, data and systems
Becoming well-informed about developments within the media industry as well as advertising verticals through project work, internal/external meetings, and industry publications
Required Qualifications & Skills
Interpersonal skills with proven leadership and problem-solving skills
Understand brand communications, embrace teamwork, and work well collaboratively
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Keynote
Capable of prioritizing projects, working both independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle critical and confidential information, operating within the context of highly defined, routine processes and procedures adhering to organizational deadlines
Proven leadership, problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Ad Sales overall
Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry
Knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties and affinity for The Walt Disney Company
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Business, Marketing or related major preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
The dates of this internship are June 1st through August 21, 2026
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
