Location: This will be a hybrid position, with 1-2 days per week required on-site at the client’s office in the Scarborough ME or Quincy, MA Area.
What will you be doing?
This role will be key in supporting our food retailer client, Hannaford, an Ahold-Delhaize USA(ADUSA) supermarket chain operating in the Northeastern US. The Analyst role will deliver data insights from our state-of-the-art data solutions. You will dig into data, organize it, and create meaningful stories and recommendations based on the strategic goals of Hannaford. ADUSA is a premier retailer client and their access to many Circana products offers a unique learning opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and own Business Analysis using Circana data to help the client understand their business issues and opportunities.
- Provide high quality client service while supporting their use of data, analysis, and Circana products.
- Understand the client’s business initiatives and assist in establishing critical metrics to measure and grow their business.
- Support team achieving and exceeding revenue targets through high quality and service on projects and deliverables
- Work cross functionally within Circana, our client service and insights teams, and our Global Operations Centers (GOC).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and best practice sharing.
- Provide expertise and act as project leader, managing timelines and client feedback.
- Lead client training initiatives on Circana platforms, tools, and data analysis.
- Handle client communication to resolve data issues and partner with internal teams to ensure data quality.
- Identify selling opportunities using knowledge of Circana products and client business needs
- Self-direct learning and developing the subject matter expertise necessary to train others.
- Produce coherent, convincing narratives from data analyses and communicate them using data visualization accompanied by written commentary.
- Create and maintain custom data reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Analytical experience - Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Retail industry knowledge a plus but not required.
- Experience working with various types of datasets through business applications and manual manipulation.
- Highest level of attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed, to meet deadlines.
- Elevated level of curiosity and initiative required.
- The ability to leverage a large library of purpose-build, specialized data reports.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients in-person, over email, and while leading meetings
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Skills:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to create complex Excel formulas a plus.
- Superior analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Data Insights Analytics
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Prefer experience with Syndicated Scan Data.
- Knowledge of statistical methods, structured data, JavaScript helpful but not required

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65K to $75K.
