REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager
FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Acquisition Analyst Advanced to support MDA PP&A (DW) program manager with the Missile Defense Agency.

Acquisition Analysis and Support:

  • Market Research
  • Contracts Requirements Package Building
  • Post Award Contract Administration Acquisition Activities
  • Support Agreement Support
  • Inter/Intra-Agency Acquisition Requirements Support
  • Prepare milestone decision packages or MDA equivalent
  • Prepare acquisition strategy for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalent
  • Review, process, and formulate strategy products
  • Draft and brief complex acquisition solutions, i.e. Other Transactions (OT) and hybrid acquisitions or equivalent
  • Draft Acquisition Executive program correspondence/status reports, i.e. memorandums, EXSUMs, white papers, and Ad Hoc reports
  • Strategic planning and operations integration support

SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of comprehending personnel space management and interior design to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS in related field with 10 years relevant experience; MA/MS, PMP or DAWIA Level III certification may substitute for 3 years of experience

• 10 years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition or DoD program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance

• 5 years in a DoD program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive level review

COMPUTER SKILLS:
 • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
 • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, DoD Directives and US Code. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on data.
