About this Opportunity:
The Product Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and providing technical support to customers and supplier partners to a diverse range of industries such as Metals, Mining, Rubber, Power Generation, Energy, Wood Products, Automotive and Consumer Products. The position requires a solid understanding of assigned product to provide tailored solutions to support our customers. Work outside normal business hours is required. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED, about 1,500 miles a month.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical and sales support to customers, sales staff, and supplier partners.
- Take product responsibility for assigned Safety, Sensor, and Vision lines within the branch.
- Execute sales and product plans jointly developed with Sales and Product Management leadership.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with regional vendors and supplier partners.
- Strategize and plan with the Sales Team; integrate product goals into every salesperson’s forecast.
- Monitor projects and help move opportunities from specification to quotation to order.
- Develop product and application targets for marketing initiatives and identify new markets.
- Conduct joint sales calls, customer visits, and presentations with the Sales Team to expand the customer base.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities for Safety, Sensor, and Vision products.
- Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all applicable products.
- Provide or assist with technical training at product training meetings as assigned.
- Support demonstrations, sample testing, and proof-of-concept activities to validate product applications.
- Communicate updates on customer needs, project progress, and product issues to stakeholders.
- Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers with product-related tasks and sharing knowledge.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including demo and sample product areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.

Location:
Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in industrial automation, safety, sensor, or vision product sales, application engineering, or technical support.
- Proven record of growing sales and developing new markets for technical/industrial products.
- Experience working directly with engineers, integrators, and end users to specify and implement solutions.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong technical understanding of machine safety, sensor technology, and/or machine vision applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer relations/sales skills.
- Industrial application problem solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While much of the work is performed in an office or remote environment, the Product Manager must also be capable of supporting activities at customer sites, vendor facilities, and company events. This role requires:
- Regular sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent movement between office, warehouse, and plant-floor environments.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, and transporting of demo equipment, sample products, or presentation materials weighing up to approximately 25–40 pounds.
- Reaching, bending, and handling components during product demonstrations, trade shows, and hands-on training sessions.
- Driving to and from customer locations, supplier meetings, and industry events.
- Tolerance of industrial environments that may include noise, dust, heat/cold, or moving machinery, with appropriate PPE provided.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. Must be able to move through customer sites, including warehouses, shipyards, oil field rigs, manufacturing facilities, and related machinery, etc.
