Hilltop Residential is seeking a Brand & Creative Associate to champion our brand identity and bring the Hilltop story to life across corporate, investor, and portfolio platforms. Reporting to the Managing Director of HR & Marketing, this role will create and refine a wide range of branded assets including presentations, templates, collateral, multimedia, copy, press releases, and social content—while upholding brand standards to ensure a consistent and high-quality presence. The Brand & Creative Associate also supports corporate and investor communications as well as Hilltop’s digital and social channels, helping to craft messaging that is both strategic and engaging. Working closely with the Marketing Strategy & Analytics Associate and cross-functional teams, this role transforms strategy into thoughtful, on-brand deliverables that build credibility, drive leasing efforts, and strengthen stakeholder confidence.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Hilltop’s brand standards to ensure consistency across corporate and property initiatives.
- Design and produce creative materials, including collateral, templates, presentations, and branded assets.
- Partner with Marketing Strategy & Analytics Associate on multimedia production such as videos, photography, and digital content.
- Develop storytelling that highlights corporate culture, showcases resident experiences, and reinforces brand positioning.
- Manage corporate-level social media channels to drive engagement and strengthen brand visibility.
- Create and distribute newsletters, press releases, and other external communications.
- Provide direct creative support to Fund & Acquisitions teams, including investor decks and presentations.
- Partner with the Marketing Strategy & Analytics Manager to ensure creative deliverables align with portfolio strategy.
- Build and maintain a library of branded creative assets accessible to both property and corporate teams.
- Ensure timely, high-quality creative output that supports both day-to-day needs and long-term initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in brand, creative, or marketing roles producing on-brand assets in an agency or in-house setting; multifamily/real estate experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Portfolio showcasing brand identity applied across presentations, print and digital collateral, and social/multimedia content (examples may be requested upon interview)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, with strong skills in PowerPoint/Google Slides; basic video editing a plus
- Experience maintaining brand standards and building scalable templates and toolkits for non-design users
- Hands-on social and digital experience, including planning, producing, and quality-assuring content; ability to use data to guide decisions
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms such as Knock, RealPage, or Jonah preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and cross-functional project management skills, with working knowledge of accessibility, web and social best practices, and Fair Housing advertising guidelines preferred
This is an in-person position reporting to the Managing Director of HR and Marketing, located at our Corporate office located at 9651 Katy Freeway Suite 550, Houston, TX 77024.
