Position Overview:

MP Materials is seeking a Delivery Assurance Lead for the Magnetics Capital Projects team headquartered in Fort Worth. The Delivery Assurance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of contracts issued for capital projects after procurement execution. This role ensures that all contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and business objectives are supported. The Delivery Assurance Lead acts as the primary liaison between the Capital Projects Team and internal/external stakeholders regarding contract execution, compliance, and performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts post-award, including execution, compliance monitoring, amendments, milestones, renewals, and closeout.
  • Maintain a centralized contract tracking system for all capital project contracts.
  • Work alongside the procurement team during contract execution to ensure all capital projects deliverables are included.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategize on enforcing contractual obligations.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with DPAS-rated orders and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and services.
  • Ensure all contract documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to terms, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Work with project managers to identify and mitigate contractual risks including change orders, delays, and noncompliance.
  • Develop and implement best practices, templates, and tools for contract management. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in capital projects, construction, or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and project delivery methods.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized.

Desired Qualities:

  • Previous work in industrial settings.
  • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., NCMA CPCM or equivalent).
  • Experience with public sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
