The job:
We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Sales Development Specialist / Inside Sales Engineer. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to launch a career at the intersection of technology and business.
You will support sales and business development efforts by combining technical understanding with commercial intuition. You’ll work closely with Account Managers and Business Development leaders to qualify opportunities, prepare proposals, engage customers, research market trends and track sales performance. You will also participate in industry trade shows, customer events, and site visits.
This position offers exposure to both the technical and commercial sides of Revere, making it an ideal foundation for a career in technical sales, account management, or business development.
The skills you need:
What will you do in this role:
Sales Support & Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development leaders to identify and qualify new opportunities
- Provide technical input to proposals, RFPs, and solution presentations
- Support early-stage customer engagement and help respond to inbound inquiries
- Coordinate customer meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on action items
Opportunity & Pipeline Development & Management
- Assist in tracking sales pipeline activity in CRM (Salesforce)
- Maintain clean and accurate sales data for reporting and forecasting
- Analyze pipeline trends and help identify target accounts and whitespace opportunities
Presentation & Collateral Development
- Support preparation of technical and commercial presentations for automation projects
- Work with engineering and estimating teams to align solutions with customer requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of sales materials
Market & Account Research
- Use ZoomInfo and other sales intelligence tools to research target accounts, identify key contacts, and build prospecting lists
- Analyze win/loss trends and provide insights for improving pursuit strategies
- Support account planning sessions with market analysis
Industry Events & Tradeshows
- Assist in planning, preparing, and participating in industry tradeshows, customer events, and conferences
- Represent Revere and the broader ECS organization at events to help generate leads, network with industry professionals, and promote our capabilities
- Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development to track event ROI and follow up on new opportunities
Education, Experience and Ability Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related) or other related discipline
- Preferred – 2 years of professional experience (Internships/Co-ops. Project experience in engineering, automation, manufacturing, or sales a plus)
- Interest in developing commercial skills and pursuing a career in technical sales
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate engineering concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, PowerBI a plus
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
