JOB SUMMARY:

The Kanban Analyst must have a good understanding of inventory control and materials management in a material flow process that employs material pull processes in place of work order kitting. A good understanding of how the pull process works with minimal transactions in a repetitive manufacturing process as part of the MRP configuration and environment is also important to this role.

Reporting to the Manager of Inventory Controls, this position will design, maintain and direct the material pull on demand and replenishment processes, logistics, mechanics and systems required for all Cirrus Kanban controlled inventory. This includes pull signaling and inventory sizing control for supplier materials and deliveries, in-process materials and deliveries, inter-site manufacturing materials and deliveries as well as production signaling methods in machine process applications. The Kanban Analyst will be familiar with various Kanban replenishment methods that include dual card, single card, re-order point and min-max visual methods. Working knowledge of Kanban sizing analytics that are designed to optimize inventory availability and Turn Over Ratios are critical to this position and analytical tools to maintain optimum inventory quantities are preferred.
