General Job Description:

Perform a wide range of activities to actively recruit foster families for Groden Center Treatment Foster Care Program. Assist in creation of marketing/advertising materials and in the management of events/fundraising activities for Groden Center Treatment Foster Care Program.

Perform a wide range of activities to actively recruit foster families for the Groden Treatment Foster Care program

Education, Experience and Special Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree or MA, in Communications, Marketing, Social Work or another related field a plus.

2. Foster care experience preferred.

3. Previous experience in a marketing firm, or in an intensive recruitment position, foster care agency, or other related work.

4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 

5. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products:  MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. 

6.  Certification or willingness to be certified as a Structured Analysis Family Evaluator (home study writer).

7.  Certification in TIPS-MAPP leader training or willingness to become certified to train foster parents.

8.  Basic knowledge of DCYF regulations for foster parenting.

9.  Experience with Canva and/or other design software preferred.
