About the Team

The Post Selling frontend engineering team at Lowe’s India focuses on creating seamless and innovative user experiences for our Store Associates. We work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable and efficient frontend solutions using the latest technologies.

Job Summary:

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. You will work on building and maintaining Micro Frontends (MFEs) to ensure a modular and maintainable codebase. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-friendly applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  Develop and maintain user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

  Design and implement Micro Frontends (MFEs) to enhance modularity and code maintainability.

  Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

  Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

  Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.

  Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

  Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and visually appealing designs.

  Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and user experience.

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  Proven experience in building and maintaining complex web applications.

Skill Set Required

  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with building and maintaining Micro Frontends (MFEs).
  • Knowledge of frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm, Yarn).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
