We are seeking a Full Stack UI and Java developer to:

• work as a developer for UBS Global Wealth Management within the US Technology organization as part of Digital Investment Product
• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• understand, represent, and advocate for client needs and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

• Weehawken: the salary range for this role is $178000 to $233000

You’ll be working in the UBS Global Wealth Management - US Technology organization. The role is based out of Weehawken, New Jersey OR Raleigh, NC and will focus on the digital investment products.

• ideally 8+ years’ experience in Core Java, REST API, Microservices, Spring framework, relational and NoSQL DBs with good exposure on backend technologies, prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable
• professional with a career reflecting tech leadership abilities coupled with "hands on" experience in a diverse range of software projects
• strong exposure on Core Java, Spring, Spring boot, REST APIs, Microservices and experience on messaging related technologies such as JMS, MQ and/or Kafka
• exposure on Cloud integration and Container services and understanding of relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL DBs (Mongo or Cassandra)
• good understanding of Agile based execution processes and proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements
• exposure/good to have to OOP based UI Frameworks – AngularJS/ReactJS/NodeJS and Bootstrap
• clear concepts on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
• azure webapp and, basic Linux understanding
