Job Description

Job Purpose: 

To develop new client business and add value to existing client relationships in financial products including financial futures and options, cash equities and fixed income products. Play a supporting role in developing other new business in FX and commodities where that is incidental to the development of client business in financial products.

Main Responsibilities: 
 
  • Monitor and understand financial markets, market trends, requirements and possibilities amongst target group customers, economic, monetary and political developments
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for financial products
  • Maintain awareness of full range of products offered to customers
  • Ensure customers have access to our fall range of IT tools and systems to support their business
  • Develop and maintain open and collaborative working relationships with colleagues to develop business for the good of the firm as a whole
  • Engage with Salesforce CRM platform to ensure customer data and interactions are kept updated in a timely way
  • Maintain strong awareness of the applicable regulatory environment and understand all relevant implications for managing customer relationships
  • Meets with and entertains clients as appropriate
  • Promoting group research and commentary
Skills & Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good working knowledge of the information technology systems process which provides systems such as Reuters and Bloomberg, and desk-top applications
  • Good working knowledge of Fidessa  and other related trading systems
Education & Experience:
  • Significant experience in sales and business development within a UK regulated financial services environment
  • Prior experience in customer/CF30 FCA function
  • Appropriate regulatory exams/experience
