Job Summary:
The Sales & Account Maintenance Specialist in BTC Capital Management will be responsible for managing account setup, coding, and onboarding processes, assisting in the preparation of RFP responses, and supporting proposal development. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks related to account transitions, proposal submissions, and client onboarding, as well as maintaining effective communication and organization within the team.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Completes all account setup and coding activities for new accounts and accounts in transition. Assists with obtaining data connectivity for new clients across all systems.
- Manages the end-to-end transition process for standard accounts. Creates and updates onboarding, account closing, and strategy change documents for appropriate accounts.
- Assists in the preparation and responses to RFP inquiries related to portfolio analysis and Investment Policy Statements (IPS)
- Analyzes and provides recommendations on proposed investment portfolios to sales team member
- Reviews and analyzes IPS documents and provides recommendations to sales team member
- Converts and formats prospect portfolio holdings to upload into analytical systems. Converts raw analysis data into standardized sales presentation formats.
- Assists in organizing proposal layout and content with sales team and the marketing department
- Ensures that marketing materials are current and readily available
- Manages referral management and sales material organization
- Utilizes SharePoint to enhance process efficiency
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- Two-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of experience in a financial institution preferred
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Effectively support front line, client and prospect facing team members
- Expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed proofreading to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting
- Capability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them effectively into workflows
- Ability to multitask, stage and manage projects independently
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $49,734 - $58,510)
