Supervisor - Production bei AZEK Company

Key Performance Responsibilities:

• Achieve Operational Goals: Consistently meet or exceed defined performance metrics by optimizing resources and implementing process improvements.
• Maximize Productivity: Effectively plan, organize, and deploy human resources to maximize shift productivity while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Lead and Develop Team Members: Provide leadership to hourly personnel, including performance evaluations, development planning, and recognition programs to drive engagement and accountability.
• Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Promote and execute 6S, Lean Manufacturing practices, and cost-saving measures to support new product launches and improve operational efficiency.
• Technical Leadership and Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support for equipment operation, testing, and troubleshooting. Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions to production issues.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Lead safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Oversee workers' compensation claims and manage return-to-work programs.
• Maintain Process and Quality Standards: Develop and audit process parameters, work instructions, and equipment/tooling maintenance to uphold quality standards. Participate in corrective action meetings to resolve production challenges.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) and timekeeping/payroll systems (e.g., Kronos).
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated success in managing teams to meet operational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in a hot environment depending on weather conditions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets.  The annual salary for this position ranges from $77,000 in our lowest market up to $80,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.  The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
