We’re seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to support financial planning & analysis, internal controls, and reporting for our corporate functions. This role will manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and support month/quarter/year-end close. Responsibilities also include sales/use and property tax filings, expense reporting oversight, and assisting with SOX/internal control compliance, audits, and special projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains general ledger records through journal entries, including month end analysis and reporting.
- Assists with overseeing the SOX/internal control process, including coordinating audits, helping remediate findings and supporting compliance with internal controls.
- Balance sheet account reconciliation preparation.
- Assistance with foreign entity cash reporting and repatriation
- Responsibility for inter-company accounting including consolidations, eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for running monthly revaluation and loading monthly foreign exchange rates in ERP systems
- Assists with month end, quarter end, and year end closing, including uploading of results to parent company
- Managing miscellaneous cash transactions and ensuring all reconciling items are cleared timely
- Preparation of sales and use tax returns
- Ownership of property tax filings and related journal entries.
- Assist with month end / quarter end/ year-end financial reporting to parent company, including annual tax packages.
- Responsible for providing information to the Risk Management team for insurance renewals.
- Ownership of Concur expense reporting, purchasing card administration and payment approvals.
- Assists with special projects and any other activities as requested.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Experience
- 5-10 years in Finance and/or Accounting
- Sox compliance and internal controls
- ERP systems, preferably SAP
Skills, Certifications, Abilities
- MS Office which includes knowledge of Word, advanced Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
- Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
- Detail oriented; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, with initiative and accuracy.
- Keeps information organized and accessible, maintains clean/functional workspace, works systematically/efficiently, manages time well.
- Solid organizational, communication, problem-solving and research abilities.
