- Maintain confidential, complete and accurate records and files.
- Create reports using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and the student information system, including advanced features such as merging, charting, pivot tables, and statistical functions.
- Build and maintain budgets in Excel; request vendor quotes as needed.
- Process departmental payroll.
- Review, correct, and upload reports submitted to the state.
- Monitor student information system data for accuracy; identify and resolve errors.
- Track graduation cohorts and support schools in correcting cohort reporting issues.
- Prepare and upload documentation for audits from the Indiana Department of Education and the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
- Respond to help desk tickets assigned to the Office of Data and Accountability.
- Request new Student Test Numbers (STNs) and update student demographic information.
- Record professional development sessions and attendance in the tracking system.
- Support all phases of data collection, entry, validation, and management.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Office of Data and Accountability and with EVSC staff across departments.
- Generate reports that align with EVSC goals and initiatives.
- Communicate with employees, parents, students, and vendors regarding data-related matters.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Ability to operate a computer and related software including Microsoft Office, Google systems and student information systems.
- Proficient in using student information systems to input and retrieve student data.
- Possess effective telephone and public relations skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.

Position Details: | The EVSC is seeking an Data and Accountability Coordinator. This position works 52 weeks a year. It is scheduled 5 days per week at 8 hours per day. |
Salary: | $54,015 |
Benefits: | Insurance: EVSC employees have access to the EVSC Wee Care Learning Centers. The Wee Care program provides a quality early learning experience for employees' children as young as six weeks through age five at a special employee rate. |
The Data and Accountability Coordinator provides support to the Office of Data and Accountability with data, reporting, and compliance functions. This role maintains accurate student and departmental records, supports state and federal reporting, and provides staff with data and reports that inform decision-making, requiring substantial discretion in the use and handling of confidential and sensitive information involving school support, assessment, strategy, and research.
