Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Client Services Specialist core responsibilities will be completed with some supervision and include but are not limited to:

Advocacy Responsibilities:

Provide benefit plan and eligibility information. Assist with billing and claims Provide ID Cards, locate in- network Providers, and assist with access to care inquiries Provide renewal audit support. Review, document, and respond to cases in tracking system Assist with special projects, research, and administrative tasks

Customer Service Responsibilities:

Available to work a flexible schedule during the hours. Adhere to client’s holiday working schedule Coordinate with other team members on vacation and other personal days off or time away from the office to ensure adequate staffing. Respond to inquiries regarding gift card issues and inventory restock Administer and manage a gift card call center, email inbox, and external ticket system Work with bank personnel on banking issues Submit and verify inventory invoices for payment Manage the Business to Business and Business to Customer gift card registrations and orders Manages the Restaurant Bulk Load transactions Collaborate with payroll, accounting departments, bank partners as needed to resolve various Treasury issues Assist in gift card liability reconciliations and reports Manage Holiday Card Inventory Requests and shipments Miscellaneous administration work Real time documentation updates Works on special projects as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

An inquisitive nature, always pressing to know more and understand more about the client and their needs Technology savvy, having a curiosity and propensity to learn more about computers, software and other tools that make business more effective and productive Strong mathematical and analytical skills enabling one to gather data and present it in a clear and understandable method to the receiving audience An excellent communicator (listens, speaks, and writes well) Highly organized and process driven, can manage a multitude of requests, details, and follow-ups (including paperwork) This position may require getting to and from client locations and physical office. For that, reliable transportation and punctuality is required Welcomes change

Education, Training and Experience

1.   At least 2 years of industry experience, including insurance, carriers, benefits, human resources,

broker/agent, technology field, data processor, electronic software applications.

2.   High school diploma, minimally. College degree and any other professionally related designations are preferred.

  Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) Benefits Administration experience preferred. Life and Health License is required. If hired without a license, employee will have 120 days from date of hire to successfully complete the pre-licensing and pass the licensing exam.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

The ideal Customer Service Specialist for this position tends to perform in a consistent manner, demonstrate patience, develop specialized skills, objective thinker, have a desire to help others, and be a good listener. In addition, this profile pays attention to directives, standards, and details; they think analytically, work independently, are diplomatic with people, use subtle or indirect approaches to conflict; they check for accuracy and use systematic approaches to situations or activities. This profile is extremely curious and creative.
