Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy, and intellectually curious Inside Sales Agent to join our growing sales organization. This role focuses on driving revenue and supporting independent retailers across North America. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth:

Manage a portfolio of accounts through proactive outreach (calls, emails, video conferencing), driving reorders and upselling seasonal products. Oversee pre-book orders during product cycle releases to ensure timely customer participation, follow-through, and accurate order submission.

  • Customer Support & Relationship Management:

Build long-term relationships with clients, addressing needs, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive buying experience.

  • Territory Development:

Generate leads and re-engage dormant or inactive accounts within assigned open territories, supporting company growth initiatives.

  • Order Management:

Create and manage sales orders in the system, handle changes, and follow up on deliveries in coordination with Customer Service and the warehouse team.

  • Tech-Enabled Selling:

Use Excel, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and our internal CRM and ordering platforms to manage your workflow, analyze trends, and stay connected with customers and teammates.

  • Sales Tools & Resources:

Leverage our digital resource center, real-time inventory tools, and remote showroom technology to deliver consultative and engaging sales presentations.

  • Reporting & Communication:

Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM tools.

 

Qualifications


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales, account management, or customer service experience, preferably in a wholesale or B2B environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Comfortable with video conferencing (Zoom).
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales order entry systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and close sales over the phone.
  • High degree of self-motivation and organizational discipline.
  • Intellectually curious, quick learner, and comfortable navigating changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage 200–400 open accounts and hit monthly/quarterly sales targets.
