With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our team and service clients across the Western United States region. This is a full-time, remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Optimizes technical support resources to most effectively maintain a satisfied customer base as well as to train new customers and technicians to drive profitable sales to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals while managing an annual operating budget.
- Provides technical supports to customers (key accounts) and sales teams including product evaluation, product application, protocol modification and technical training to accelerate conversion programs
- Updates and executes training programs for internal and customer/distributor and utilizes and updates CRM MS 365 platform weekly to manage the assigned territory.
- Develops and manages relationship with KOLs to gain market acceptance and strengthen collaboration through professional contacts, scientific study & publication, speaker program and conference as well as update industrial trends.
- Refined and executed technical support and scientific education plan to support business strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in life sciences (biology, microbiology, chemistry, food microbiology) or related field, or equivalent education and work experience, required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of B2B sales or technical support position required that includes the following:
- Experience in sales in the food & beverage market, or Experience in sales and/or marketing in health care market
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS 365 CRM) Webex or similar web meeting application.
- This role will require you to work 1 weekend per quarter, hours applied to this weekend will be 8:00pm EST Friday to 8:00pm Sunday night.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability and aptitude to work with and maintain fine scientific instrumentation
- Ability to conduct detailed data analysis and troubleshooting each product platform
- Develop design of experiments
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pay close attention to details.
- Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
- Must be able to lift/carry 40 pounds.
WORKING Conditions:
- Minimum of 75% travel.
- Days consist of either driving and or flying to see customers in their territory.
- May occasionally work evenings and or weekends.

- Frequently required to maintaining a static position, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- Installation and troubleshooting of equipment may require lifting up to 40 pounds.
Salary Range: (Applicable to California)
$68,640.00 - $75,0000.00 base salary DOE plus commission.
