Responsibilities
Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, ALB/NLB, ElastiCache, etc.).
Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines ensuring zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary).
Establish monitoring, logging, and observability with CloudWatch, ELK/Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
Manage real-time messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, Socket.io).
Implement scaling strategies including auto-scaling, caching layers, and multi-region failover.
Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, WAF, TLS, Secrets Manager, audit logging).
Support disaster recovery and business continuity (backups, snapshots, multi-region strategies).
Collaborate with backend, data, and mobile teams to optimize performance and reliability.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
Proven expertise in AWS services (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
Strong skills with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
Solid knowledge of monitoring & logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
Experience with real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Socket.io, Redis).
Proficiency in MongoDB administration, sharding, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud security.
Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, or Go).
Hands-on with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS Fargate).
Nice to Have
Experience with geospatial data systems (Redis GEO, H3/S2).
Knowledge of chaos engineering / resilience testing.
Familiarity with multi-region, active-active architectures.
Experience in cost optimization and FinOps in cloud-native systems.
