Jobbeschreibung:
As part of a dynamic team, the Aftermarket Representative will build lasting relationships with new and existing customers, whilst providing outstanding levels of customer service and support. Through these relationships, the Aftermarket Representative will be responsible for proactively achieving sales targets for replacement parts, upgrades, enhancements, and service for the equipment we offer across a broad geographical region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES
Aftermarket Responsibilities:
- Create & maximise the sales opportunities for replacement parts and upgrades for the machines we support.
- To prepare quotations in line with customer requirements, in a fast, efficient and professional manner.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding quotations with a sense of tenacity
- Order entry into ERP system
- Answer phones and emails to support customers in their parts and service needs
- Proactively reach out to customers to inquire about equipment & service gaps or needs
- Collaborate with internal teams – Germany, Denmark, US on parts related items – Intercompany orders, cross-site parts quotes, etc
- Provide clear and consistent proactive communication to customers as it relates to lead times, order updates, and tracking information.
- Collaborate with Danish & US colleagues on cross-site quotes and orders to maximize efficiency and customer experience.
- Work with internal teams to set realistic lead times for sales quotes and orders
- Create & promote service contracts that align with customer needs
Additional Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales targets set by leader
- Practice good documentation and organization skills
- Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to provide world-class levels of customer service.
- Contribution to department and site improvement efforts and other projects as assigned.
- Provide general administrative support as needed
- Occasionally visit customers as required.
- Promote parts & service offerings through customer engagement
QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES
- Education background in Mechanical and Electrical preferred.
- 3 to 5 plus years Sales or Customer Service experience, preferably within a similar industry.
- Confident people person, has a good approach with customers and is able to build strong relationships over the phone
- English and German language skills are essential. Additional languages, such as French, is desired.
- Experience in the use of ERP and CRM systems
- Ability to communicate well with all areas of the business – both internally and externally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- To be confident in using Microsoft Office
- Pro-active sales person with a real “can do”, “will do” mind set
- Good commercial awareness
- History of performing well in a fast-moving, pressured environment whilst meeting business objectives
- Flexible approach to work
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility, with travel to customer plants. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in manufacturing areas.
