The Quality Manager is responsible for accuracy of sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing productions results.
Reports to: Plant Manager and interfaces with production, shipping purchasing and Corporate R&D.

Position Responsibilities:
- Promotes health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
- Supervises lab personnel and functions relating to the performance and execution of lab tests to produce reliable data ensuring products conform to known company and customer standards.
- Ensures that routine tasks are performed accurately and follows strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
- Ensures proper preparation of specimens and samples.
- Interprets results obtained by Lab Tech and relays to Plant Manager.
- Generates QC report summaries for the Plant Manager.
- Prepares reports on WW software platform.
- Responsible for formula optimization. Batches found to be out of specification require input and approval by the Quality Manager.
- Manages the ISO-9001-2015 quality system.
- Performs ISO:2015 internal Audits
- Must be available for 24/7 plant support.
- Maintains a safe working environment, following all safety rules and procedures.
- Prepares weekly and or monthly summaries covering the quality system, test data and other information regarding product quality for the Plant Manager and other operations personnel.
- Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- This position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
- Requires working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a laboratory environment.
- Moderate dust, noise, hot and cold climates intermittently.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently.
- Visual Acuity (including color perception).
- Good Hearing.
