The Opportunity
 
As a Senior FP&A Analyst at Savant, you’ll be more than a financial analyst—you’ll be the primary owner and administrator of Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring our system is configured, optimized, and leveraged to its fullest potential. Your work will sit at the core of how we budget, forecast, model, and plan for growth.
 
This is a unique opportunity to combine finance expertise, system leadership, and process innovation in a role that directly influences firm-wide strategy.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop and refine detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets across income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, headcount, acquisitions, and capital planning.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports that provide leaders with clear visibility into financial performance and trends.
  • Support strategic decision-making with scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and business insights.

Workday Adaptive Planning System Administration

  • Serve as primary Adaptive Planning administrator, leading all aspects of configuration, model building, rules, dimensions, and system optimization.
  • Manage integrations with NetSuite, HRIS, CRM, and other source systems.
  • Partner with external consultants and internal IT/Data teams to prioritize projects, ensure accuracy, and deliver results.
  • Conduct audits, testing, and system upgrades while maintaining data integrity and ensuring optimal performance.

Training, Support, and Governance

  • Train and support end users on Adaptive Planning functionality and best practices.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation.
  • Drive data governance practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved workflows.
  • Stay current on Adaptive Planning enhancements and industry best practices to keep Savant ahead of the curve.

A couple things to note about our Senior FP&A Analyst position:
 
  • Location: This position has the flexibility to work out of our Rockford, IL headquarters, our office in Lincolnshire, IL, or our Downtown Chicago office, located at 200. W. Madison Ave.
  • Work Model: Initially we will expect more in-office time, but once you're fully up and running, we will discuss the potential for you to work in our hybrid model of 3 days in office and 2 from home.
  • Typical Hours: Standard business hours with flexibility based on business needs. At month end and quarter end, some overtime may be required and can come closer to 50 hours weekly.


What We’re Looking For
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of primary administrator experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, rules, integrations, and system optimization.
  • Strong FP&A background (budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP; SQL/Python/ETL tools a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ownership mindset—proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.

The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $110,000.00 - $161,00.00However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
