St. John’s Community Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee the expansion of our Black/African-American Maternal & Infant Health Program into the Inland Empire (San Bernardino). The Program Manager will lead staff, oversee program operations, and ensure high-quality culturally affirming services for program participants. This position requires strong leadership, case management expertise, facilitation of support groups, and the ability to effectively represent the program through outreach and public speaking. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing service delivery systems. to provide outreach and engagement services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Master’s Degree (MSW, MPH, M.Ed., or related) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in program management, social work, community health, or related field.
- Experience facilitating support groups, teaching classes, and providing case management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with strong ability to create reports, presentations, and manage data effectively.
- Knowledge of billing and program compliance processes preferred.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Experience working with Black/African-American families and communities highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Los Angeles as required.
Responsibilities:
Program & Staff Management
- Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of program staff, ensuring goals and deliverables are met.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Oversee program inventory, supplies, and materials.
Service Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate and teach culturally affirming support groups, classes, and workshops for program participants (fathers, mothers, nurturers, and families).
- Provide case management support, including participant intake, referrals, follow-ups, and ongoing support services.
- Ensure proper documentation, billing, and reporting in alignment with funding requirements and organizational policies.
Program Operations & Administration
- Track program outcomes, participant engagement, and ensure compliance with grant deliverables.
- Manage program billing processes and ensure accurate and timely submission of documentation.
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures for efficient operations.
- Collaborate with leadership to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth.
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Represent the program at community events, outreach activities, and public speaking engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and local agencies.
- Conduct outreach efforts to engage and enroll eligible participants.
- Occasionally travel to Los Angeles to collaborate with program leadership and participate in organizational initiatives.
