Job Summary:

The Qualified Autism Service Practitioner - Supervisor (QASP-S) is responsible for managing a team of BT/RBTs in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for assigned clients.

The QASP-S works closely with the Operations and Clinical Teams to ensure quality of care, authorization, supervision, and implementation of treatment plans are provided for the effective treatment of clients. The QASP-S models culture throughout their daily interactions with every individual in the clinic, home, and community settings. The QASP-S oversees and provides training to the clinical team that directly impacts their clients, in all environments where treatment occurs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                               

·        Conduct client intake assessments, inclusive of FBA and curricular assessments, and assist in the on-boarding of new clients

·        Develop treatment protocols and behavior support plans, including initial treatment plans, and  program modifications,

·        Communicate regularly with caregivers to facilitate clinical objectives of the client’s treatment plan

·        Meet regularly with the Clinic Manager to review treatment plans, discuss case conceptualization, and problem solve any barriers to client progress

·        Oversee a team of RBTs, provide regular supervision of treatment, ongoing training, support and mentorship, as well as conduct performance evaluations (informal and formal)

·        Conduct regular caregiver training to ensure treatment fidelity and to promote generalization of skills across environments

·        Develop managerial and leadership skills on an ongoing basis

·        Support quality assurance measures by collecting IOA, treatment fidelity data, and reviewing RBT clinical notes

·        Coordinate with the Training Coordinator to identify and plan for RBTs requiring additional training, outside of regularly scheduled supervision

·        Provide supervision and oversight to apprentices/individuals pursuing certification

·        Participate in the development and dissemination of educational and ongoing development initiatives

·        Maintain QASP-S certification as mandated by state regulatory agency

·        Demonstrate a high level of engagement in company culture (i.e., a “culture champion”), including but not limited to robust understanding of Cultivate’s Mission, Vision and Core Values

·        Attend meetings and trainings as required, and maintain applied skills to be able to model for supervisees, as necessary

·        Participate in companywide projects or initiatives

·        Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code

·        Comply with all HIPAA policies and guidelines, as well as all Cultivate policies and procedures

·        Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·        Bachelors in ABA or related field

·        At least two (2) years of related professional experience working with children, with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

·        QASP-S certification and in good standing with the state regulatory agency

·        Two (2) years of experience in functional discipline preferred

·        Minimum of one (1) year experience within ABA

·        Familiarity with the field of early intervention preferred

·        Knowledgeable about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the field of ABA 

·        Fluent in program development to meet treatment goals, assessment implementation and report development

·        Demonstrate continuous professional growth with a strong desire to continue learning

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·        Process driven and detail-oriented

·        Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize appropriately, to deliver timely results and consistently meet deadlines

·        Ability to empathize and communicate with guardians professionally, with confidence, in caregiver communication and training to achieve goals

·        Communication skills, both oral and written, that are clear, concise, and exhibit leadership, professionalism, empathy, and inspire confidence

·        Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required, to accommodate client and staff needs

·        Ability to work and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from wide ranging backgrounds

·        Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

·        Experience with ABA data collection software is preferred

·        Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening process (i.e., background/reference checks and drug screening, etc.)
