Position Summary: The Power Platform Develop assists in building and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to support business processes.
  • Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Support data modeling and management using Dataverse and other data sources.
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Power Platform applications.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and user guides.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Technical Skills Required:

Core Power Platform Skills:

  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
  • Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Approvals, Scheduled Flows)
  • Power BI (Data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices)
  • Dataverse (Tables, relationships, business rules)

Microsoft Ecosystem:

  • SharePoint Online (Lists, Libraries, Permissions)
  • Microsoft Teams integration
  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive)

Data & Integration:

  • REST APIs and custom connectors
  • JSON and XML data formats
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Excel and CSV data manipulation

Development & Scripting:

  • Power Fx (Power Apps formula language)
  • JavaScript (basic understanding for embedding in Model-Driven Apps)
  • HTML/CSS (for UI customization)
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions (a plus)

Tools & Practices:

  • Git or Azure DevOps for version control
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in Power Platform
  • Basic understanding of security roles and environment management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience working with Power Platform or similar low-code tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
