Responsibilities:- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data collection, evaluation, and reporting of LWT in-water run performance
- Acess online reporting systems, receive and distribute documents and reports
- File, sort, organize, and maintain data and document collections, and prepare complex data analysis.
- Provide general database maintenance to LTRIS, assist in planning, designing, and organization of database and network systems.
- Recommend changes to dataflow, data manipulation and assess database storage needs and requirements.
- Utilize Naval Tactics Techniques and Procedures (NTTPs) and scoring doctrine, conduct analysis on received Rapid Feedback (RFB) Firing Reports to generate evaluation scores, code messages and enter into the LTRIS system.
- Receive raw internal data from the Keyport shops, process and assess internally recorded sea-run data to determine root-cause system and hardware failures, and report on the results.
- Provide LTRIS system data output reports, retrieve, modify, and manipulate database information. Research, analyze data, generate assessments, and prepare reports for special Data Analysis Requests (DARs).
- Track, analyze, and report on in-water run performance for Lightweight Torpedo firings, analyze torpedo performance measurement data, and determine the overall Reliability and Effectiveness of the Torpedo System.
- Draft, prepare, and transmit, outgoing messages, final analysis, Torpedo Firing Analysis Results Messages (TFARMs), monthly trend reports, and weekly reliability reports to LWT stakeholders.
- Generate shipping documents and provide material to Shipping and Receiving
- Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience conducting detailed and insightful data analysis to draw logical conclusions and provide actionable recommendations
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
- Experience with database maintenance and operations.
