HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 48 weeks/year (4 weeks off: 2 weeks in March and 2 weeks in June)

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Associate Director of Student Involvement serves as a key member of both the Student Involvement and Student Affairs teams, providing leadership in the development and execution of a dynamic student engagement program for the Molloy community. This includes oversight of campus-wide programming, student organization advising and support, and the coordination of the campus programming board. The Associate Director plays a critical role in major university events such as New Student Orientation, Commencement, and other large-scale programs. Additionally, the Associate Director participates in an after-hours, on-call rotation to support Molloy’s residential student population.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Student Organization Supervision: Provide comprehensive oversight of all aspects of student organization advising, support, and development. Assist student organization leaders with program planning, development, and implementation, while also serving as a resource to campus advisors. Also support Molloy Student Government and Campus Activities Board.
- Campus Event Planning and Programming: In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Student Involvement, manage administrative event planning responsibilities, including logistics coordination and the development of a comprehensive programming calendar for all students. Partners with key campus departments such as Residence Life, Health and Wellness, and Athletics. Coordinate staff coverage and hosting evening and weekend events. Participate in administrator on call coverage in the Residence Halls. Manage student engagement webpages and campus engagement platform. Work directly with Residence Life for weekend programming calendar.
- New Student Orientation: Serve as a member of the New Student and Transfer Orientation team, collaborating with the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students on overall program leadership and development. Partner with the Assistant Director of Student Involvement on the hiring, training, and development of the student Orientation Team. Provide oversight of all program logistics.
- Fraternity and Sorority Life: Provide programmatic leadership for Molloy’s emerging Fraternity and Sorority Life program, including establishing relationships with national organizations, developing policies and procedures, and overseeing overall advisement and promotion of the program.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Higher Education)
- 5 to 8 years of work-related experience
- Knowledge of university admissions practices as well as enrollment management
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $64,350 to $67,000. This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
