Collision Estimator Duties/Responsibilities:

Comprehensive salary plus commissions, anticipated range anywhere from $75k to $100K+ 

• Communicate well: Inform and educate customers about Abra repair process, including insurance claims processing, payment procedures, repair techniques, repair needs and expected delivery date of repair.
• Follow the Abra playbook: Examine, analyze, and evaluate damaged vehicles to create a comprehensive and accurate estimate and overall timeline of repair
• Collaborate with insurance agents, dealerships, fleet accounts and other customers, maintaining and strengthening quality relationships.
• Inform insurance adjusters, production staff and guests with timely updates regarding vehicle repair status understanding how important each relationship is. 
• Ensure quality is always excellent because our reputation matters.

Requirements

Abra Estimator Required Skills/Abilities:

• 1-3 years prior experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser
• Prior damage analysis experience related to hybrid vehicles, restraint systems, electrical systems, and identifying hail, theft and/or vandalism damage
• Proficiency using Mitchell or CCC-1 estimating software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• I-CAR training or other industry training preferred
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma required
• Must be able to work the following days and hours:  Monday – Friday (7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
