Here’s how you can help! 

 

The Director of Mission Delivery Operations is responsible for oversight and management of all operational work streams to support the Mission Delivery Team including Community Engagement, Volunteer Engagement and Girl Experience Year Long Programming. This includes managing toward goals and outcomes with a focus on excellence, and developing, measuring, and implementing council business decisions through an equity-based lens with a DEI-centered approach. 

 

This position is responsible for all key cross-departmental collaborations to achieve council-wide goals and initiatives. Key partnerships include the Fund Development, Marketing & Communications, Strategy and Evaluation, and Member Services teams. 

 

Essential Qualifications for this Position:  

 

  • 10 years or more of experience in non-profit or organizational management, with demonstrated experience managing budgets, designing systems and coaching, managing and holding teams accountable
  • Experience and understanding of managing people and work with a focus on DEI
  • Experience in managing or working with volunteers
  • Experience creating systems in large scale complex organizations
  • Valid driver’s license, car, and proof of current insurance
  • Experience leading work with a focus on budgets and performance metrics.
  • Computer skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience working with databases. Use of Salesforce and Looker a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred, can be substituted for professional experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Qualifications for this Position:  

 

  • Demonstrated ability in planning, management, and supervision of staff
  • Process-oriented, experience implementing system wide improvements
  • Ability to lead groups and build consensus in a diverse setting
  • Multi-level data management and reporting 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to take ownership and responsibility for all performance-related goals
  • Willing to work weekends and nights as necessary

 

Other: 

  • Monday-Friday, 9am -5pm with a one-hour lunch
  • Weekends and evenings required for key events and operations.
  • This is a full-time position (35 hours/week)
  • Some travel required
  • Maintain Membership as a registered Girl Scout
