The Facilities Manager plays a vital role in supporting the credit union’s growth by ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and fleet vehicles are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Reporting to the Vice President of Information, Security and Technology, this position oversees the daily operations of the Facilities & Maintenance team, manages vendor relationships, coordinates property projects, and fosters a culture of accountability and excellence. The Facilities Manager collaborates closely with leadership to align facilities operations with the organization’s strategic goals and to promote a workplace culture that is Focused, Engaged, Trustworthy, Humbly Confident, and driven to Achieve.
Essential Job Functions
- Focus on Purpose: Focused on the credit union's purpose of creating financial wellness in our community through everyday banking.
- Lead, Manage, and Accountability: Lead and manage the Facilities & Maintenance team with a focus on accountability and performance. Use tools like the People Analyzer to ensure the right people are in the right roles. Monitor team performance and implement coaching plans for continuous improvement.
- Property Project, Maintenance and Fleet Vehicle Management: Manages Facilities team tasks, including scheduling maintenance for buildings and fleet vehicles, coordinating property projects, preparing competitive bids. Ensures HVAC systems and other building systems are properly maintained and in working order
- Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison with third-party facility vendors.
- Facilities Help Desk Process Management: Manage the Facilities Help Desk ticketing system, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work with the VP of IS&T and leadership teams to align facilities operations with short- and long-term organizational goals. Communicates goals and initiatives clearly.
- Employee Culture: Committed to building and supporting an engaging and inclusive culture for all.
- Core Process, Policy, and Procedure Review: Ensure adherence to all facilities-related policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Community Advocate: Serves as a credit union representative within the community and supports credit union sponsored events.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent certification in Facilities Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities or property management.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Must be flexible with working hours. Work schedules are occasionally adjusted on short notice to accommodate unexpected business needs, which may include working after hours and on weekends. Licensed driver, ability to travel from location to location.
