Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of projects through all design stages.
- Assisting with calculations, sketches, diagrams, and working drawings for electrical building services.
- Preparing specifications and equipment schedules under supervision.
- Helping to gather and analyse technical data to inform project decisions.
- Using digital tools such as BIM modelling, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Attending design workshops with architects, surveyors, and engineers.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Visiting sites during construction phases to see projects come to life.
- Contributing to project proposals and wider team initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related subject.
- An interest in electrical building services and sustainable design.
- Familiarity with CAD software (REVIT, AutoCAD, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible, adaptable, and resilient attitude.
