Job Summary

The Treasury Management Officer will be responsible for effectively selling the Bank’s depository and treasury management services to existing and prospective clients. This position will solidify customer retention efforts by providing superior level relationship management and customer service.

 

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages business development, client retention, deposit growth, portfolio quality, fee income, referrals, client satisfaction, and knowledge of comprehensive treasury management solutions
  • Calls on new and existing commercial clients to develop and sell treasury management products and services; reviews assigned client base and identifies deposit and treasury management services and product opportunities based on customer needs.
  • Works closely with other sales officers to identify all sources of new deposits and acquire the full relationship to meet monthly/quarterly deposit goals while maintaining profitability
  • Identify referral opportunities to other lines of business including consumer and commercial loans, personal accounts and wealth management 
  • Conducts annual treasury management reviews for top tier commercial clients
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of treasury management sales programs, products and services, as well as applicable federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Partners with commercial lenders in pre-proposal discussions to fully understand client needs and determine preferred solutions
  • Provides an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers
  • Demonstrates excellent sales and business development skills
  • Educates customers on the features, benefits, and value related to each service
  • Completes necessary documentation, implementation on bank systems, and customer setup of treasury management products and services
  • Partners with the treasury management support team to ensure a smooth customer transition
  • Analyzes bank statements and prepares proposals.
  • Responds to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Negotiates pricing to optimize profitability of product and service solutions
  • Works closely with treasury management support team to troubleshoot treasury management product issues
  • Assists with annual Remote Deposit Capture audits

Working Conditions

Working Conditions

Indoors, environmentally controlled with usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
