This job is a member of the Material Planning Team within the Technical Operations Supply Chain Division and will be responsible for leading a team with significant top line impact on performance by leading strategic initiatives within the department, aligning projects with overall organizational goals. This is a high-impact operational leadership role within the Technical Operations Supply Chain team, directly supporting our Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and overnight maintenance operations. You’ll lead a team responsible for executing time-critical logistics and material solutions that keep our fleet flying. This role is about real-time, tactical execution — ensuring the right part gets to the right place at the right time. What you'll do
- Lead and oversee strategic initiatives within the department, aligning projects with overall organizational goals.
Provide guidance and strategic direction to the implementation and on-going support of an inventory optimization platform.
Ensure that the optimization platform aligns with evolving business needs and organizational goals.
Identify areas where efficiency can be improved and lead initiatives to address them.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement beyond the optimization platform, contributing to overall efficiency.
Engage with key stakeholders at a strategic level, ensuring that projects contribute to the department's overall objectives.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives.
Define and monitor key performance indicators for projects, ensuring they align with departmental and organizational targets.
Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore and implement new ideas that align with organizational goals.
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during any process or system changes or shifts in project priorities.
Provide updates to senior leadership on project milestones.
Foster collaboration between different teams and departments for holistic project success.
Mentor, coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Work closely with finance and HR to plan and manage budgets and staffing requirements for strategic initiatives
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Accounting or other business related field
- 5 years of experience with Airline Operations
- 2 years of experience in a leadership/management role
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- 5 years experience with Airline Operations (Supply chain/Logistics preferred)
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proven experience in strategic leadership and project management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Experience in team development and mentorship.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to think forward - think big picture - have a vision.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

- Ability to influence decision making using facts/data/trends and validate assumptions.
