Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile, modern marketer with a strong foundation in leveraging digital and traditional marketing strategies to fuel growth. This strategic and cross-functional role will work closely with the Director of Communications and executive leadership to lead marketing initiatives that promote Bluestone as a trusted partner to people navigating complex health journeys and to assisted living, memory care and group home community partners.  

 Our ideal candidate balances leading strategy with hands-on action, with a specific talent for bridging the gap between high-level marketing initiatives and the practical needs of a sales team. They are data-driven, technologically adept with customer relationship management (CRM), email marketing and graphic design tools (e.g. Canva), and possess excellent collaboration and project management skills. Schedule: Full-time position, weekdays, regular business hours (M-Th 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Fri 8 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Location: Hybrid role — 1-2 days based out of Bluestone’s office in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota, and 2-3 days working remote. We are open to candidates located in our Wisconsin (Milwaukee or Madison) or Florida (Orlando or Tampa) markets. 

Travel: Up to 15% local & national travel is required for this position.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution:
  • Lead marketing strategy to build brand awareness with prospective patients, families and living communities in partnership with Bluestone Director of Communications and external agency.  
  • Oversee paid media strategy development, execution and measurement. 
  • Support editorial content strategy, including publishing and maintenance of Bluestone digital properties (Corporate website, social media accounts, Google reviews, etc.). 
  • Manage Bluestone messaging library and incorporate into sales presentation materials and other creative assets as needed.  
  • Lead marketing collateral management process with a focus on team efficiency and cost effectiveness: 
  • Own print vendor relationships for national collateral; online ordering platform; track and report on print spend. 
  • Create templates for local use using Canva and PowerPoint, while identifying freelancers to support requests. 
  • Uphold Bluestone brand identity guidelines across internal and external channels. 
  • Track KPIs and generate reports to assess and optimize marketing initiatives, including awareness and growth metrics. 
  • Ensure all marketing efforts comply with industry regulations, including CMS regulations, and collaborate with leadership to mitigate risks.
​​​Existing Customer Communication and Engagement Strategy: 
  • Build and own process to regularly reach Bluestone’s existing assisted living, memory care and group home partners about new services and operational process changes including strategy, cadence, messaging, channels and measurement. 
  • Define technology requirements to deliver content to existing community partners using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. 
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continually innovate content strategies and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including CMS regulations. 
  • Build processes to measure satisfaction and collect testimonials from patients, families, and living community partners.
Sales Enablement: ​​​​​​​
  • Build processes to measure satisfaction and collect testimonials from patients, families, and living community partners.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to understand go-to-market strategies, industry insights, customer journeys and competitive intelligence to translate business goals into local marketing strategies. 
  • Equip sales teams with content, tools and training to promote Bluestone to our assisted living, memory care, group home community partners. 
  • Identify opportunities to integrate marketing automations or process improvements into the sales process using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. 
  • Pilot and test in-community activation strategies in partnership with local leadership and living community partners to promote Bluestone to potential new patients and their families (on-site signage, events such as caregiver roundtables, etc.)​.  

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Experience

  • 6 or more years of experience in marketing or marketing operations in the healthcare industry is required. 
  • Preferred experience in areas such as marketing strategy (B2B and B2C), brand management, content marketing, public relations, paid media (e.g., PPC, social media advertising), SEO, social media management, and online reputation management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business. 
  • Strong writer with demonstrated ability to translate brand messaging into compelling content for various channels, including websites, social media, sales presentations and other creative assets. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated compatibility with Bluestone’s purpose, core focus and core values. 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  
  • Experience working with sales teams on go-to-market strategies, persona development, sales processes and using customer insights to support lead generation. CRM knowledge (Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience taking initiative; proactively addressing challenges; solving problems resourcefully, finding creative and practical ways to overcome obstacles, even with limited resources. 
  • Experience using KPIs and reporting tools to track marketing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Excellent project management, communication and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Understanding of compliance and marketing and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) industry regulations.
