Role Description

We are seeking a technically knowledgeable, bilingual (Mandarin & English) Welding Machine Sales Specialist to expand Bodorlaser's market presence in the U.S. for automated welding equipment. This role focuses on providing tailored solutions to clients in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace.

The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, excellent business communication and interpersonal skills, and basic proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. A successful candidate must be able to manage relationships effectively with new and existing clients, provide technical product information, and work collaboratively with internal teams across different time zones, especially during the sales cycle.


Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new customer relationships in the welding machine sector while nurturing existing ones.

· Provide professional technical consultations, welding solution demonstrations, and pre-sales support to clients.

· Demonstrate knowledge of MIG, TIG, laser welding technologies, and match appropriate products to client needs.

· Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Organize and attend trade shows, client site visits, and product training sessions.

· Collaborate with Bodor's China-based technical teams and U.S. service engineers to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Prepare client proposals, sales reports, and market trend analyses.

This is a fully remote position, but frequent travel to visit customers in the assigned region is required.  Relocation is required if located outside of these areas.


For Pay Transparency-Compensation Description (annually):

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for commissions and bonus based on sales performance. 

The total compensation package, including commissions and bonuses, can significantly exceed the base salary depending on individual and company performance, and the estimated annual earning for this role is between $100,000 and $150,000.

Requirements

 Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics preferred.· 3-5+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment; experience in welding machine sales is a strong plus.· Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English is required for effective cross-border communication.· Willingness to travel (approx. 25%) for client meetings and trade shows.· Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). 


Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with robotic welding systems and automation integration is preferred.

· Prior experience working in multicultural or multinational environments is highly valued.
