We’d love for you to become part of our growing team!An Inside Sales Specialist plays a key role in helping the organization with increasing the conversions of leads to quotes and ultimately to an order. This position as part of the marketing team helps to support the sales team, shorten the buying cycle, maintain a clean sales pipeline and ensuring customer requests are professionally cared for.The individual should have a strong sales acumen, a high level of motivation and persistence, and strong attention to detail. The individual is required to be proficient in the operation of standard Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with SAP CRM is a plus.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the qualification and nurturing of sales leads, which includes contacting potential and existing customers to define and clarify the specific details of the sales opportunity and capturing and maintaining the customer data and requirements in the CRM database.Support specific market penetration and segment Marketing programs by conducting base line marketing research on accounts, contacts, and market segments using the internet, telemarketing/tele-research, and direct mail.Support specific product follow-up initiatives including customer satisfaction surveys, quote follow-up, closing past due opportunities, lost and new customer opportunities.Leverages marketing resources, including buyer personas, sales tools, industry intelligence, marketing content and online footprints, to establish consultative relationships with prospects.Maintenance of the CRM account and contact database including data entry, maintenance, and clean-up activities.Assistance with Marketing, Sales, Service, and Administration functions as required including assembly and fulfilment of campaigns (such as mailers), compilation of reports and statistics.Manage product recall program; this includes monitoring news events, FDA, FSIS, etc... to locate recalls, record lead in CRM, and working with sales to develop the opportunityAble to apply value selling techniques along with product and industry knowledge to articulate how our solutions may benefit potential customers’ business. Work with other METTLER TOLEDO organizations on joint projects and programs.Provide all required reporting of activities and achievements.Supports field sales activitiesOther duties as required to meet department deadlines or customer commitments.
