Job Summary:
The Grande Quality/Sanitation team is excited to offer a summer 2026 internship opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking college student pursuing a degree in chemistry, microbiology, and continuous improvement. This internship provides hands-on, project-based experience in key areas, getting to see and be a part of all plants, with the opportunity to reduce sanitation time through micro testing on equipment washes with chemicals.
Interns will gain valuable exposure to sanitation and chemistry, Instrumentation Specialist, outside contractor work with chemical companies, and the opportunity to look at engineering equipment on sanitary design meeting 3A and USDA requirements while sharpening essential professional skills including collaboration, customer focus, independent and team-based work, attention to detail, time management, and workplace professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully while growing personally and professionally in a dynamic everchanging environment.

What you need to be considered for the role:
- Student in Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health or Sanitation.
- Participative involvement in campus organizations, non-class related volunteer involvement, off campus employment and demonstrated leadership preferred.
- Strong interest in food safety, quality assurance and sanitation processes
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to details and willingness to learn sanitation best practices.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft word. (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
