POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Solutions Manager is a key member of the Business Solutions & Strategy team, responsible for supporting the team in developing winning proposals and ultimately achieving its revenue goals. This role plays a crucial part in managing timelines, developing and editing compelling presentations, and facilitating smooth internal communication to ensure successful client pitches and proposals.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Project Management & Timelines: 
    • Develop and oversee comprehensive project timelines for all business development initiatives, including RFP responses, client pitches, and proposal submissions.
    • Monitor progress, anticipate potential challenges, and proactively communicate updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Presentation Development & Editing: 
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to craft compelling, high-quality presentations and proposals that align with client objectives.
    • Conduct in-depth research and curate relevant data to enhance key messages and provide valuable client insights.
    • Write, edit, and proofread presentation materials, ensuring clarity, precision, and adherence to brand guidelines.
    • Design visually engaging presentations using industry-standard tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Internal Communication & Collaboration: 
    • Serve as a liaison between the business development team and other agency departments (e.g., creative, strategy, media) to streamline collaboration and resource sharing.
    • Gather input and insights from team members to enrich presentations and proposals with diverse perspectives.
    • Organize and lead internal meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workflow discussions to foster alignment and efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: 
    • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
    • Assist with the preparation of client meeting agendas and capture thoughtful notes and action steps from prospective client meetings.
    • Provide general administrative support to the business development team as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business development, marketing, or project management role, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Passion and experience delighting clients and going above & beyond. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering high-quality presentations and proposals.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) is a plus.
