POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform receiving of parts/supplies.
- Perform cycle counts on parts/supplies.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory variances.
- Work with Production department to identify key process variables to reduce mechanical/electrical downtime.
- Cycle count and create order requests to maintain plant PPE.
- Support quarterly inventories.
- Work on min/max inventory control measures to reduce inventory.
- Receive, stock, and create stock locations for inventoried spare parts and input into CMMS.
- Develop QR Scans for line locations, build library of parts consumed, job task hours for PM’s and input into CMMS.
- Maintain the CMMS, audits WO’s, conducts training and reviews system for double entries and incomplete WO’s.
- Enforce PM schedule compliance.
- Facilitate planning with maintenance and operations for planned down time activities.
- Report WO status during daily GEMBA walk.
- Provide weekly reports for work orders open, closed and other requested data from the CMMS.
- Submit PO’s as requested from Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians.
- Support Maintenance Supervisor with parts ordering.
- Promote health, safety and environmental regulation by ensuring that standards, policies and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state and local requirements.
- Perform other duties as required for the success of Polyglass USA, Inc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to write quality reports and present information to colleagues.
- Analytical skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AS-400 experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the product line, facility, and production preferred.
