We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead our IT operations at our Chandigarh/Mohali office. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT support, managing infrastructure, leading technology projects, and ensuring data security across the organization.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have experience across help desk, networking, databases, and cloud systems, with the ability to manage a team and deliver IT projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2–10 IT professionals.
    • Foster accountability, continuous learning, and a collaborative work environment.
  • IT Operations & Support
    • Oversee help desk operations and provide Level 2/3 escalation support.
    • Manage hardware/software troubleshooting, upgrades, and break-fix tasks.
    • Build, repair, and optimize computer hardware.
  • Infrastructure & Networking
    • Manage and maintain networking equipment, servers, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Ensure reliable LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and cloud connectivity.
    • Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Systems & Software
    • Administer O365 / Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
    • Manage Active Directory and Google Workspace Admin environments.
    • Support automation and scripting with Python, DAX, or similar tools.
  • Database & Development
    • Create, manage, and troubleshoot databases (SQL, Access, or similar platforms).
    • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Project Management
    • Run IT projects from planning through execution and delivery.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to align IT solutions with organizational needs.
    • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Data Security & Compliance
    • Enforce cybersecurity best practices and IT policies.
    • Monitor and respond to security threats.
    • Maintain compliance with data protection and privacy standards.


Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in IT, with prior roles such as:
    • Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support, Hardware Technician.
    • Level 2 Support Engineer or IT Lead/Senior IT Specialist.
    • Assistant Manager, Senior Lead, or Manager in IT or Help Desk.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong hardware build/repair and troubleshooting skills.
    • Networking knowledge (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
    • Database experience (SQL, Access, or similar).
    • Cloud/SaaS platforms: O365, Active Directory, Google Workspace.
    • Familiarity with coding/scripting (Python, DAX, or similar).
  • Leadership:
    • Proven track record managing IT teams of 2–10 people.
    • Ability to mentor, train, and hold teams accountable.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Problem-solver and out-of-the-box thinker.
    • Data-driven decision-making approach.
    • Strong communication and documentation skills.
    • Leadership mindset: takes responsibility for team success.
  • Additional Requirement:
    • Must complete a DISC Personality Assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Work Location:
    • Must work on-site at our Chandigarh/ Mohali office.
