Motrex is the exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets. Stryten has over 2,500 employees working at manufacturing sites throughout the country.
Motrex's corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May of 2026 and end in August 2026, and will be full-time (40 hours a week) with expectations of being on-site each day (no remote work). This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation.
The Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Intern will gain exposure to Motrex's culture as well as the specific area of Talent Acquisition. Will work daily with the recruiting team and be exposed to Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and HRIS. This program is intended to provide learning opportunities by working hands-on with mentors and completing assigned projects. All interns are required to complete a presentation on their projects at the conclusion of the summer.

- Coordinator support, including weekly reports, candidate backgrounds, I-9 processing, and relocation
- Facilitate requisitions, including manager interface, candidate calls, scheduling, offers, and onboarding tasks
- Recruiting projects related to social media, job descriptions, metrics, and others
- Event tracking and outreach
- Projects in Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, or HRIS could be possible
We are looking for students:
- Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Graduating between December 2026 and May 2028
- With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- You must have housing and transportation
- The position requires working on-site daily
During your internship, you will be exposed to the following areas:
- Talent Acquisitions (Recruiting) - primarily
- Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and HRIS
- Applications: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADP, iCIMS, I9 Tracker, HireRight
