Job Description
The Project Manager possesses enterprise knowledge and engages with their clients in gaining early knowledge of the client program, positioning to present unsolicited or alternative proposals that are compelling. In their engagement, the Project Manager instills client confidence leading to the presumption that Service Stream can do the job, and thus maximizing the company's profile, whilst also listening to and acting on client feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Development (if incumbent has Client Manager Role);
- Work closely with key client personnel to build Service Stream's understanding of their drivers (e.g. regulatory framework, political pressure, business strategy) including Capex/Opex programs and other future opportunities;
- Develop and maintain Client Management Plan (IMS ref number TBA) with support from BD manager;
- Promote understanding of Service Stream's capability and leveraging from Service Stream's current service portfolio in promoting and expanding the scope of services provided;
- Act as a focal point for Service Stream's corporate knowledge of the client by engage in regular meetings with client as well and managing wider Service Stream's engagement and consolidation of knowledge. Seek and act on client feedback;
- Maintain up to date list of opportunities in Compro;
- Proactively identify tender opportunities well in advance of their release to market and obtains key background information and positions Service Stream's to be better informed and prepared than our competitors at the time of tender release;
- Report quarterly on client engagement to the leadership team;
- Achieve annual revenue and contribution budget for specified client(s).

About You
As the Project Manager takes strong personal ownership of high value projects through all stages of the project management life-cycle including successfully bidding and winning projects through to safely and profitably delivering and closing out projects in accordance with Service Stream's project management systems. In doing so, the Senior Project Manager consults and coordinates with other key personal in the efficient management of resources and mitigation of risks.
To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications in the civil/electrical/mechanical engineering or trade space and posses the following experience and competencies:
- Demonstrated understanding of planning scheduling functions.
- Familiar with commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of projects.
- Good command of MS Project and/or similar software
- Familiar with all activities involved in setting up project teams and site establishment relating to multidiscipline projects
- Ability to work within a team
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes and safety laws;
- Advanced math skills and the ability to understand "abstract" principles behind math and physics;
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook;
- Knowledge of Accounting software;
- Ability to lead and manage small teams;
- Ability to deal diligently, patiently and professionally with internal stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers;
- Self-starter, able to determine own priorities and manage work accordingly;
- Analytical with ability to identify and suggest areas for process improvement and drive efficiency;
