Parts and Accessories Sales Specialist
The Parts and Accessories Sales Specialist, working with the Parts and Accessories Sales Manager, will manage sales administration and marketing activities related to outboard motor parts and accessories. Responsibilities include providing information and support to Suzuki staff and the Suzuki Marine nationwide dealer network.
Principal Tasks:
· Work with P&A team for all wholesale and retail Parts & Accessories programs, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with business objectives
· Distribute Suzuki bulletins regarding dealer initiatives and product updates to maintain clear communication channels and compliance
· Conduct comprehensive industry price benchmarking to inform competitive positioning and pricing strategies
· From time to time attend marine industry events and trade shows, fostering relationships and gathering market intelligence
· Support the development of quarterly and annual product forecasts by analyzing sales data and market trends
· Collaborate in formulating monthly and annual wholesale sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share
· Engage with the sales and marketing team to produce high-quality sales materials
· assist in developing trade show displays, and detailed product catalogs to support marketing efforts
· Provide prompt and knowledgeable daily product support to field staff and dealers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
· Update and enhance sales training materials for field staff to ensure ongoing professional development and product knowledge
· Continuously monitor, update, and improve the Parts & Accessories website content, ensuring accuracy and user engagement
· Execute additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team objectives
· Must assess wholesale engine purchases then engage the dealer directly by phone/email about their accessory and oil purchase quantities with the overall goal of increasing those quantities
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, as well as the Adobe Suite
· Previous experience in the marine industry is preferred
· Advanced analytical skills utilizing Excel, with the capability to identify and interpret trends within sales data
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respond effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong time management skills, including the ability to efficiently handle inbound calls, emails, meetings, projects, and overall workload
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.
· Willingness and ability to travel as required
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
