The role you will contribute:
The Sr. Manager Change Management will lead key elements of the organizational readiness strategy and is responsible for developing and adopting change, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies needed to support the organizational objectives aligned with Adventist Health System's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative, iSynergy elements, and other transformation projects as assigned. Under the direction of their leader, the Sr. Manager is responsible for managing a team and work to ensure the team collaborates with technical and functional project teams, shared services operation teams, and other corporate departments as needed to ensure successful realization of the transformation project at hand. This manager will focus on the people side of technical deployments and strategic transformations and is instrumental in creating conditions for a smooth transition to changes with least resistance from end users while maximizing enthusiasm to adapt to the change. Position is within a large-scale implementation project with tight deadlines and competing priorities. Individual is responsible for planning for readiness activities, assessing change impacts, communicating changes, and working with facility stakeholders to consult and execute on readiness plans.
The value you will bring to the team:
- Participates in the development and coordination of activities in the organizational readiness workstream including change management, change communications, organization design and workforce transition
Leads and participates in workstream deliverables in 3 or more of the following elements:
- Assessments to measure and analyze initial, incremental, and post project stakeholder engagement
- Organizational design across facilities, regions, and departments aligned to project strategy
- Stakeholder and change impact identification and mitigation
- Workforce transition support for all user / stakeholder groups
- Technical business role identification, clarification, and mapping
- Leader and stakeholder engagement and alignment
- Change communication
- Manage team portion of project plan, status report, resources, issues, etc.;
- Partners in status update communication with project management and provides timely feedback to team
- Responsible for input and execution on design, delivery, and implementation of change, change communications, providing advice, tactical support, risk identification, escalation and mitigation
Builds linkages with other team activities; Serves as a liaison between organizational readiness team and other teams in the area of question/issue resolution
Participates in the development and maintenance of the overall organizational readiness strategy; Supports the elements of the overall organizational readiness strategy and the facility-specific readiness needs for which immediate team is not lead
Consults stakeholders on readiness preparation, execution of methodology, and leveraging existing best practices
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Bachelor's Required
7 + Years Leadership experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Possesses strong understanding of how people go through change and the change process
· Ability to facilitate meetings and discussions with business representatives and key leaders
· Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision
· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
· Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and work effectively at all levels in an organization
· Possesses strong skills in the area of communication, organization, prioritization, and managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines
· Proficiency in leading others through influence and relationship building
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's
· Experience in technology adoption for large transformations
· Change Management Certification (PROSCI)
· Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
· Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
· SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
· SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
